    How your portrait experience works

    Design consultation

    We meet at the studio to plan your session together: who's being photographed, the style you like, what to wear and where your portraits will be displayed. You'll see our finished artwork in person, and we'll talk through the options that suit your space and budget. This is also when your $150 session fee is paid, and when the person organising the session signs our copyright and image use agreement.

    Your portrait session

    In our Runaway Bay studio or on location around the Gold Coast. Paul handles the lighting and guides every pose, so you can relax and enjoy it. Sessions suit all ages, and we plan the timing around little ones.

    Ordering appointment

    A few days later you return to see your portraits projected large, choose your favourites and place your order. Please bring anyone who'll help decide. Once your 3 day cooling off period ends, your order goes into production. Custom artwork takes 4 to 6 weeks.

    Collection

    Your finished artwork is collected from the studio at no charge, with its matching digital files. Delivery can be arranged at your cost.

    Your session fee covers

    • Your $150 session fee covers the design consultation, the portrait session and the ordering appointment.
    • The session fee is not credited towards artwork, and there's no obligation to buy.
    • Every product includes its matching digital file.
    • Every portrait is individually retouched for its final size. Retouching is natural and considered, keeping real skin texture and character.
    • 25 year studio warranty on all artwork.
